- Description:Arboreal and nocturnal. Medium sized. Snout is pointed. Fur usually dark, most often dark brown and sometimes nearly black, with black spots running down the back in several rows. Face black on anterior portion, with paler fur posterior to the eyes and mouth, giving a masked appearance. Tail is black and longer than the combined length of head and body. Legs, proportionally short for the size of the torso.
